This Privacy Policy explains how CompanionX ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the CompanionX mobile application (the "App").

Information We Collect

• Account information: email address for login and password reset.
• App data: companion profiles and messages you create in the App.
• Diagnostics: basic error logs to keep the App stable.

How We Use Information

• To provide and improve the App.
• To maintain your account and sync your data.
• To respond to support requests.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us operate the App (for example, hosting and database services). These providers are only permitted to process data on our behalf.

Third-Party Response Service

CompanionX uses Anthropic's response service to create companion replies. When you send a chat message, the following data is transmitted to Anthropic's servers:

• Your chat messages (text you type in conversations).
• Your companion's profile information (name, personality, and traits you defined during setup).
• Recent conversation history (up to the last 20 messages) to maintain context.

This data is sent solely to create responses and is not used for advertising. Anthropic processes data in accordance with their own privacy and data handling policies. We do not share any other personal information (such as your email address or account details) with Anthropic.

Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as needed to provide the App. You can request deletion by contacting us.

Your Choices

• You can update or delete your data by contacting us.
• You can stop using the App at any time.

Children

The App is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Child Safety Standards

CompanionX is published by 77D and enforces a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

• Content that sexualizes minors or facilitates CSAE is prohibited.
• Accounts involved in CSAE may be removed and permanently banned.
• Child safety reports are reviewed and escalated to authorities when legally required.
